Work Experience Training

The Work Experience services provide increased exposure to work and post-secondary exploration and experiences in order to increase the numbers of students with disabilities who leave high school and/or postsecondary education to be prepared for the adult world. Ages 14 to 22 .

The Job Skills Training services teaches skills; · reinforces skills; and develops or sets up accommodations and/or compensatory techniques to increase the customer's independence and ability to meet the employer's expectations.

The Job Placement services offer help preparing for, obtaining, retaining or advancing in your employment through the following individualized services.  Services are based on eligibility and your individual needs.

 Supported Employment Services


Supported Employment (SE) is a comprehensive service package for VR customers. SE enables customers with the most significant disabilities to enter competitive integrated employment by:

By initially being paired with a job and subsequently receiving continuous assistance and training, the client cultivates job readiness while actively working. Employers who employ individuals through VR are anticipated to deliver equivalent training to VR clients as they would to other new hires, aided by support from both VR counselors and SE specialists.
